Two of the most fun ways to get around Port A are beach buggy golf cart, and bicycle. Both go where a rental vehicle can’t, but bikes are even better for the tighter nooks and crannies for Port A. They offer two types of bike, a Port A Beach Cruiser or a Baja Cruz Fat Bike. Keep in mind the bike you want may not be available at every contactless location. They offer men’s, women’s, and children’s bikes.

Rates:

No matter what your Port A bike rental needs may be, Big Shell Bike Shop has you covered. You can rent for a half day, full, day, or a single overnight. For longer stays, you can reserve a bike for up to a week. Get your bike delivered to your accommodations for just $20 per bike or save the delivery fees and pick up your bike in person. Ask about helmets and other safety gear, as well as extras like trailers, extra baskets, and other accessories you may have on your own bike at home.

Equipment & Rentals

They offer new and used surfboards for sale, and new skateboards. Bring your surfboard in for ding repair, too. You can call, or email pictures of the damage for a quote on repair cost. Rentals include surfboards, body boards, skim boards, paddleboards, and bikes. Surfboards can be rented by the half or full day, or 24 hour period, while other equipment is rented by the day. All paddleboard rentals include the paddle. Rentals can be delivered anywhere in Port A for just $7, or you can pick up your items in person.

Surf Camp & Lessons

If you’re looking to start a new hobby, or even advance your skills, Boardhouse Surf & Skate can help. Book a one-on-one private lesson with a member of the team. Advanced students will learn new tips and pointers. Beginners will go from getting familiar with the board on land to catching a wave in no time! Camps are usually weeklong experiences in the fall and summer. If you’re in Port A on an extended break, consider joining a camp to hone your skills on a daily basis. Camps are conducted by our experienced and qualified staff, who also oversee private lessons.
