Jetty Boat

Mustang Island is the inhabited island, while San Jose Island and North Jetty have been left the way nature intended. The Jetty Boat runs daily from Fisherman’s Wharf in Port A and is the only way to access the North Jetty. It leaves Fisherman’s Wharf and lands at a private dock at the base of the North Jetty on the deserted beach of San Jose Island. Once there, you’ll enjoy birding, fishing, beach combing, and other activities.

Other Things to Know:

Return trips (San Jose Island to Fisherman’s Wharf) are available when the boat finishes unloading passengers during earlier trips. If no passengers are traveling to San Jose Island at that time, the boat will not make a pickup until the next scheduled pickup time.

NO reservations are needed, and tickets are not pre-sold. Arrive with enough time to purchase tickets and supplies. Remember the island is completely uninhabited, so you will need to bring everything you intend to use with you.
