You can touch down at Corpus Christi International Airport and drive the 1.25 hours it takes to get here. Choose airlines like Southwest, United, or American to get you there. Skip the drive opt to fly to Port A! Fly by small private plane to the town’s airport – Mustang Beach Airport, located directly across Highway 361 from Beach Access Road 1A.
By Car
If you’re a Texas native looking for a weekend getaway or are making Port A part of a bigger trip to experience more than one place in Texas, you can get here by car the entire way. From Corpus Christi’s North Padre Island, hop on State Highway 361 on the JFK Causeway Bridge.
By Boat
Boaters setting sail from other points along the Texas Gulf Coast will have little problem navigating the waters to dock and spend some time in Port A. Dennis Dryer Municipal Harbor is located beside Roberts Point Park and is a city-operated marina with short-term and long-term slips available. Take advantage of amenities like eight boat ramps, fish cleaning stations, public restrooms, private showers for slip users, and more. Island Moorings Marina & Yacht Club is located across the bay from Corpus Christi. The concrete floating dock system, ship’s store, restaurant, pool, and fuel dock available are just some of the conveniences there. Once you’ve secured your vessel in its slip, hop on the Port Aransas Shuttle, a city-wide transportation route that operates daily.
